JOBOB TAELEIFI TO PLAY
POLYWOOD CHILDREN’S BENEFIT CONCERT,
MARCH 6TH AT POLY HIGH SCHOOL IN LONG BEACH
Proceeds to benefit St. Baldrick's Foundation for Children's Cancer and
International Medical Corp's Haitian Relief Fund
Pop singer-songwriter Jobob Taeleifi will participate in the Polywood
Children’s Benefit Concert at Polytechnic High School in Long Beach,
Saturday, March 6th. The concert will be held in the 1500 seat
auditorium. Doors open at 5:30 for a meet and greet with the performers
and the show starts at 6:00 p.m. Jobob will play an acoustic set. The
concert also includes comedy, dance groups, indie bands, jazz and rap
artists. Pre-sale tickets through the high school are $5.00, $10 at the
door day of show. All proceeds will be split between St. Baldrick’s
Foundation for Children’s Cancer and the International Medical Corps’

SINGER-SONGWRITER JOBOB TAELEIFI NAMED NEW ARTIST OF THE YEAR

The Hawaii Music Awards has named pop singer-songwriter Jobob Taeleifi
as its 2010 New Artist of the Year. The 14th Annual Hawaii Music Awards
ceremony will be held March 27 at the Empress in Downtown Honolulu. For

Feb 11 Jobob's first single release “Heartbreak Queen,” from his self-titled
debut CD, has charted on Mediabase Pop Charts' Top 100 (www.mediabase.com)
and is moving up weekly. The song also charted at #3 on TweenPopRadio
following Miley Cyrus and Owl City’s Firefly. Additional songs from the
CD, “Let Go” and “New Generation,” have already been selected for
placement in TV.

January 15: Jobob's "Heartbreak Queen" Nominated for a 14th Annual Hawaii Music Awards for Best Single Song Release. The Hawaii Music Award voting base comes from an average of 45 states, over 100 countries, including music production companies, agencies, recording studios and various music industry personnel. Winners will be announced on February 12 and the Hawaii Music Award’s Nominees Celebration Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 27th, at the Waikiki Sheraton Hotel.
December 12: Jobob records in world renown Capital Records in Hollywood with other polynesian artists from around the world, a song written by songwriter Gary King titled "A Teardrop from God".
